Scenic Drive
Address: The drive is accessible via Richmond and Louisville avenues to the east, and East Rim Road and Robinson Avenue to the west.
Why we love it: El Paso has beautiful mountains. If you take a drive up scenic drive, there is a parking area at the summit gives you a great view of El Paso and Juarez. By day, you can see miles and miles of both cities. By night, you can see endless twinkling lights.

Why we love it: With Juarez out of the question due to obvious safety concerns, the El Paso Saddleblanket is the best place to purchase Southwestern and Mexican arts, crafts and pottery at great prices. The store used to be limited to wholesale purchases, but now anyone can tour their facility and purchase items.

Why we love it: El Paso is home to three of the oldest missions in the United States. The missions feature beautiful architecture and offer insight into the region's history. Nearby Licon Dairy offers some of the best asadero cheese Iliana has ever tasted. The dairy also has an extensive outdoor petting zoo. Finally, Aaron loves the food at Cattleman's Steakhouse that has been featured on the Travel Channel. Ysleta is the closest mission to the heart of the city. It will likely take half a day visit all three venues on the Mission Trail.
Chamizal National Memorial

Why we love it: The Chamizal National Memorial was established in 1963 to commemorate peaceful relations between the United States and Mexico. The museum features art from the region.
The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso

Why we love it: We don't really love the outlet malls, but we figured we would pass along the information in case you wanted to shop at the new outlet mall near far west El Paso.
Visit Albuquerque
Albuquerque is about 3.5 to 4 hours north El Paso. If you're coming from Albuquerque, you must know it's a short trip to El Paso and we'd be thrilled to have you join us for the wedding. If you have never been to Albuquerque, we encourage to you head up there while you're in the neighborhood. We loved our time in New Mexico, and we think you'll enjoy it too.
